Chaos Lord Harbringerby ~chaotea

Yet another conversion of a plastic fantasy battle chaos lord into a 40k one. I really like how this turned out. Originally i was going to cut off the models left arm and replace it with a CSM boltpistol arm. But the scale was wrong (as FB is slightly larger than 40k). Plus i liked the arm, so i desided to do a blood angel style wrist mounted gun, and the plasma pistol looked best for this. The back pack was easy, and the book gives more detail to the back. The mutation however was a good move, and adds another level of dynamics to the model.

A note on gaps in the model. Sometimes i get these, but the fill in when i spray. And the ones at the base are meant to be there. I considered green-stuffing it, but decided i wanted to paint it so it was a rock with lava running under it and around.
Also, the worst mold lines have been taken away. Those left are not noticeable on the model, but only show up on the photo

thanks. i love converting fantasy lords to 40k. Im thinking of doing the juggunought of khorne one and the Archion model.

might be a little while tbh, im painting my coverted FB khorne lord right now, then the converted raptor lord, then i need to finnish some blood crushes i started a year ago, and i want to get some possessed painted.

Nice work, but it needs some greenstuff to smooth the join between his plasma pistol and his gauntlet and the ends of the bio-cable on the side of the pistol, too. Probably around the edge of the basing elements, too.
